PICKWICK POOL TEAM

26/02/26: An unbeliveably poor performance by the Pickwick saw us drop to another low point losing at home to a short sided Rugrats team. Our visitors arrived with man short, but that failed to spark any Pickwick inspiration. The first set had to be seen to be believed. Frame after frame won racks were thrown away by last gasp unforced errors. Other then the free frame we never got onto the scoreboard until frame 7 and that was down to an opponent going in off the black! I'd like to report things improved from here but they didn't. Bedtime smashed in a black out of sequence from an impossible to escape snooker, pretty much summed our night up. The Gypsy managed to nick 2 /3 but there really were no Pickwick highlights. The match concluded with a 8-7 defeat. The relegation threat continues for another week.
